About Frederic
Frederic Schaper, MD, PhD, is an Instructor of Neurology and Director of Epilepsy Network Mapping at the Center for Brain Circuit Therapeutics of Mass General Brigham, Harvard Medical School. He received an MD PhD in the Netherlands on deep brain stimulation for patients with epilepsy and performed postdoctoral research on mapping epilepsy networks at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as well as the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Frederic’s research focuses on mapping epilepsy networks to better control seizures using brain stimulation and has been recognised through several grants and awards including the American Epilepsy Society Young Investigator Award, Postdoctoral Research Fellowships, and NIH-NINDS R01 funding.
