CACNA1A Awareness Day

People with the rare genetic disease CACNA1A often have an epilepsy as part of it.
CACNA1A Awareness Day’s goal is to raise awareness for CACNA1A genetic variants/CACNA1A-related diseases and to bring people across the globe together to show support for those who are impacted by this rare genetic disease. Why the 19th? Simply because the CACNA1A gene is located on chromosome 19!

By celebrating CACNA1A Awareness Day, you are helping the CACNA1A Foundation continue to build on its mission to accelerate research on CACNA1A-related disorders.
