About Charlotte

Charlotte is a Health Informaticist, Associate Professor at the Uppsala University, Sweden, and Research Affiliate at Digital Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School. Her PhD was in philosophy of science and mind (2008). She has worked in health research for nearly 20 years, with 200 publications, holding academic posts in the US, the UK, and Europe. In 2026 she is Visiting Professor at University of Melbourne. Charlotte has written the book “ Dr Bot: Why Doctors Can Fail Us and How AI Could Save Lives” was published with Yale University Press in September 2025.
